◇　展覧会概要

ギャラリー同潤会では４回目になる個展を開催することになりました。

私の「Song of Life」シリーズは、日常生活の中で見つけた小さな“哲学”を紡いでいるものです。
その哲学の中心にあるものは「自己（わたし）」だと思っています。
これまでの個展でも「私とは何か」ということを探ってきましたが、今回の個展に並べた作品には「自己（わたし）」だけでなく、「他者（あなた）」がいる空気を感じさせています。

好きも嫌いも、快も不快も、善も悪も、またはどちらともいえないグレーな感情もすべて、私の存在ひとつでは得られるものではありません。
他者が集合した社会の中にあって、はじめて得ることができる感情です。
そして、感情や心が人間性を作り、人間たらしめているのだと仮定するなら、「自己（わたし）」は「他者（あなた）」がいてはじめ て「存在する」と言えるのかもしれない。

…と、文字にしてみると至極当然なことを改めて今、私は私の人生の中で感じているようです。
これまでシリーズを通して見ていただいているお客様には、そんな変化もひとつのスパイスとして味わっていただけたらと思います。

作品を通してほんのひととき「自分と他者との関係性」について考える時間をもっていただければ幸いです。

I'm going to hold the 4th solo exhibition at gallery doujunkai.

My work theme is "philosophy" that we meet in daily life.
We meet many "Question" and "Awareness".
I call them "Song of Life".

I think there is "the self" in the center of the philosophy.
I was looking for the answer to the question "What am I?" until now all the time.
However, I let the work of this solo exhibition let you feel the existence of "others", not only "the self".

Feeling good, feeling bad, and feelings to be called neither--
I can't get all feelings only by myself.
I can get those feelings in the society where others gathered.
I'm made to existed by others if feelings control a human being.

While seeing my work, I'm pleased if it makes you a moment to think about relationship with others.

◇ プロフィール

カナダ・バンクーバー出生、東京在住
多摩美術大学美術学部油画科卒業
主に個展を中心に活動中

Vancouver, Canada birth.Tokyo living.
Tama Art University, oil picture department graduated.
The main activities are solo exhibitions.
