◇　展覧会概要

ギャラリー同潤会では３回目になる個展を開催することになりました。
私の作品テーマは、生きていく中で出会うさまざまな感情や行動です。
それらを「Song of Life」と呼んでいます。
　
人間は、答えのないことで悩んだり、小さなことで大きな傷をつけあったり、
想いとは裏腹な行動をとったり、自分が一番自分をわかっていなかったり……矛盾だらけな生物です。
しかし、そんな矛盾に悩める姿というのは滑稽で愚かな反面、ときに魅力的・神秘的にも映ります。
一生懸命生きようとするからこそ“もがく”のだと思うからです。

表現方法はしばしば抽象的になりますが、
展示の際には皆さまの理解の手助けとなるような短文を添えるようにしていますので、
作品を通してほんのひととき「自分と向き合う時間」をもっていただければ幸いです。

片岡理森

I carried out the 3rd solo exhibition at gallery dojunkai.
My work themes are various feeling and actions which meet while making a living. 　　
I am calling them "Song of Life."

Man is full of inconsistencies---
They worry about a question without an answer.They attach a big crack mutually for a little thing.
They do action opposite to thinking. They cannot understand themselves.

The figure of the human being who worries is humorous and foolish, it sometimes looks attractively and mystical.
I think that they are "struggling" because it is going to do their best.

My pictures expression becomes often abstract,but I tryed to attach a short sentence which is help to your understanding to a work.
While seeing my work, I am pleased if you have "time to face yourselves."

カナダ・バンクーバー出生、東京在住
多摩美術大学美術学部油画科卒業
主に個展を中心に活動中

Vancouver, Canada birth.Tokyo living.
Tama Art University, oil picture department graduated.
The main activities are solo exhibitions.
